ON TARGET ... Michael Owen in action against Malaysia XI
MICHAEL OWEN looked back to his best as he scored his second goal in two games.
The Manchester United striker, who joined on a free earlier this month, played 62 minutes in an easy win over a Malaysia XI.
Italian whizkid Federico Macheda opened the soring for United with a simple tap-in on 11 minutes.
And just seconds later, Owen bagged a second with typical clean strike.
Alex Ferguson rang the changes throught the second half with big-hitters Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand getting a run-out.
United squandered a hatful of chances as they pushed for a third.
Rooney, Anderson and Dimitar Berbatov all failed to hit the target from close range.
