DUA minggu lamanya kami menjelajah Andalusia di selatan Sepanyol. Perjalanan bermula dari kota Madrid, kemudian diteruskan ke Toledo, Cordoba, Serville, Ronda, Marbella dan akhirnya ke Granada sebelum kembali ke kota Madrid untuk meneruskan penerbangan ke Istanbul. Memang perjalanan menyusuri kesan sejarah Islam di Andalusia meninggalkan impak yang mendalam.

PAS: Implementing hudud our right, no forcing of non-Muslims

(Bernama) - PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang has stressed that hudud is PAS' right to implement in this country when the time comes.

"Hudud is our right, and we (PAS) will not be enforcing hudud on non-Muslims as they have their own religion. For example, Muslims caught drinking liquor will be punished under hudud law but not the non-Muslims," he told reporters at the end of PAS' 58th Annual Muktamar (General Assembly), here, yesterday.

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan (AFP) - Osama bin Laden's family were deported from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia early on Friday, officials said, nearly a year after the Al-Qaeda leader was killed in a United States (US) raid.

WASHINGTON - AL-QAEDA has chosen a former Egyptian Special Forces officer as interim leader of the violent extremist group in the wake of Osama bin Laden's death earlier this month, CNN reported on Tuesday.

Saif al-Adel, a top Al-Qaeda strategist and senior military leader, has been tapped as 'caretaker' chief of the group, CNN reported, citing former Libyan militant Noman Benotman, who has renounced Al-Qaeda's ideology.

WASHINGTON - AL-QAEDA is struggling to cope with the killing of its leader and it remains an 'open question' who will succeed Osama bin Laden, a senior US intelligence official said Saturday.

Al-Qaeda acknowledged the death of Osama in a statement but 'it is noteworthy that the group did not announce a new leader, suggesting it is still trying to deal with Bin Laden's demise,' the intelligence official told reporters.
