Dr Mahathir gets letter of demand over remarks about Lim Kit Siang

 former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad,
KUALA LUMPUR - A letter of demand has been sent to former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad, demanding an apology within three days or face legal action, Malaysian media reported.
This follows a blog post by Dr Mahathir against Democratic Action Party adviser Lim Kit Siang, who is the Gelang Patah parliamentary candidate in Johor.

In the letter of demand sent on Monday, it was claimed that the blog post entitled 'Gelang Patah' on April 11, 2013 was defamatory to Mr Lim, Malaysiakini reported.
It was alleged that Dr Mahathir had described Mr Lim as being a racist who does not respect the sensitivities of a multi-cultural society, and that Mr Lim intends to create racial disharmony and hatred among the Malays and the Chinese in Gelang Patah.
It was further claimed that the article had painted a scenario in which Mr Lim would initiate violent clashes between the different races, as well as deprive the Malays economically.
Lawyer Karpal Singh said that if Dr Mahathir does not retract the article within three days, then legal proceedings would be initiated.
Mr Lim has said that he wants Dr Mahathir to be charged with sedition and defamation following the claims.

Teach this old bigot and racist a lesson he will never forget and forever follows him to his grave. For sure there are many judges who will gladly send him to prison for his misdeed.

I am still scratching my head, wondering how he managed to acquire billions of ringgit while he was the Prime Minister. Prophet Muhammad reportedly said: "If you get from the people because of your position, that is bribery. Would you get it if you are not holding that position, or if you stay in your father's house?"
