MICROSOFT founder Bill Gates is on a hunt, not for the next technology or software, but a "next generation" condom.
A foundation headed by the Microsoft founder and his wife Melinda has put up US$100,000 to reward someone who can come up with a plan to design a condom that not only works but that people would also want to use, according to NBC News.
Grand Challenges In Global Health, a research foundation established by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is offering the money for a plan for "the next generation condom" that "significantly preserves or enhances pleasure".
In a statement on its Grand Challenges website, the foundation says condoms, from the male perspective, decrease pleasure.
