Jasmine Ser fails to make 10m air rifle final

LONDON: Singapore shooter Jasmine Ser failed to make the final of the women's 10m air rifle event at the Olympics on Saturday morning.
She scored 394 out of 400 in the qualifying round, finishing 24th out of 56 shooters. A score of at least 397 was needed to make the final eight.

China's Yi Siling won the event and the first gold medal of the London Games, shooting a 103.9 in the final for an overall score of 502.9.
Poland's Sylwia Bogacka took silver with 502.2 while China's Yu Dan was third with 501.5.
