Are the tabloids just setting up Kate Middletonand Camilla Parker Bowles for a "mother in law from hell" relationship, or could there actually be some truth to this rumour?
According to In Touch Weekly, Camilla has blabbed to friends about her new daughter-in-law's “fertility problems” - which could prevent her from producing an heir to the British throne.
“Health complications from Kate‘s adolescence raised red flags that may have an impact on her ability to conceive,” sources close to Camilla have told the mag.
Producing an heir is serious business for the British royals, and both Prince Charles and Prince William were born within a year of their parents marrying.
“If Kate is not pregnant within the next nine months, she’ll be defying 200 years of British tradition,” Royal biographer Andrew Morton tells In Touch. Whoa, pressure!
If Wills and Kate are unable to have children, the throne would defer to the eldest male child of William's brother Prince Harry.
